Thank you for shopping at Markdown Beauty (“we,” “us,” “our”). Please review our return policy carefully before placing an order.

What this policy covers

  • This policy applies to orders placed through our online store.

  • Because we source discount and overstock skincare & makeup items, some products may arrive with cosmetic packaging issues (e.g., dented or damaged boxes, minor scuffs). These packaging imperfections do not qualify for returns.

  • All sales are final except in the specific circumstances listed below.

When we accept returns

We will accept a return only if one of the following is true:

  1. You received the wrong product – e.g., you ordered Product A and we shipped Product B.

    • Please contact us within [X] days of delivery to request a return (we recommend 7–14 days).

    • If approved, you’ll be instructed how to send the product back and how we will issue a refund or replacement.

      The product is defective or fails to work as intended (for example, it was damaged in transit, or is non-functional).

       

What we do not accept for return

  • Change of mind, “buyer’s remorse,” or simply deciding you don’t like it.

  • Cosmetic damage to the packaging (e.g., box scuffs, dents, slight wear) that does not affect the product itself.

  • Products that have been used, opened, or show obvious wear/usage (unless defective).

  • Returns for items clearly marked “final sale” or discounted under certain clearance conditions (we may mark them as such at time of purchase).

Refunds & reimbursements

  • For approved returns under the “wrong item” or “defective product” condition above, we will issue either a refund or a replacement product, at our discretion.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within [X] business days after we receive and inspect the returned product.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable except where we confirmed an error on our part (wrong item shipped or confirmed defective).

  • If you return an item without our approval or outside the return window, we reserve the right to refuse the return.

How to initiate a return

  • By purchasing, you acknowledge that minor cosmetic imperfections of packaging do not constitute a defect eligible for return.
